Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”

Meet Susie Rokosch, LCSW

Hello! I’m Susie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 16 years of experience in trauma-informed care, addiction recovery, and mental health counseling. My practice is grounded in evidence-based therapies to address a broad spectrum of issues, including trauma, PTSD, depression, chronic stress, and anxiety. As an E-RYT 500 yoga teacher, I integrate mindfulness, breathwork, and body-centered therapy into my sessions, providing a holistic approach that merges traditional and alternative healing practices. This includes various somatic techniques to enhance the mind-body connection and foster emotional resilience. Additionally, I am a certified provider of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), offering this innovative treatment as a complement to traditional therapies. Whether you’re seeking integrative therapy or strategies for managing emotional regulation and well-being, I provide personalized support tailored to your unique goals.

What Client’s Are Saying…

  • Susie never makes me feel weird for any feelings I share. She normalizes and validates my experiences and has given me so many tools to use to help me manage and regulate my emotions and responses. I feel like we are building each week vs. re-starting every session.

  • Susie’s Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher Training program was engaging, well organized, pragmatic, and immensely informative. The approaches and concepts that she shared are invaluable to me as a yoga teacher, AND as part of my daily life. I feel far more secure in my ability to identify trauma in an individual and to find the best manner in which to support a person in his/ her healing journey.

  • I haven't met with Susie in a few months yet she has reached out to check in with me. This is so appreciated! Just knowing she has checked in has been huge for me. It's very comforting to know someone is concerned about me.

  • I started practicing box breathing at night, and I am now able to really quiet my mind and get to sleep. This practice is now part of my evening routine, and I even look forward to it. I started turning the TV off while I’m breathing because I feel like it really helps me get even more present and relaxed

  • Susie’s Trauma-Informed Teacher Training is one of those courses that will continue to resonate with me nearly everyday and has given me tools to use whether I am on the mat or off. Being human is such an incredibly complex experience, and the traumas that we have encountered can affect every area of our lives. Susie teaches in a way that feels like you are learning from within at an easy-going pace. I would highly recommend this course to anyone that is looking for ways to shift their perspective and presence in the world to one that leaves our environment and the people we interact with in a more peaceful and loving state. I wish this course was mandatory for all teacher trainings - Trauma is something that we all experience to some degree, and this course will give you the skills to not only help others but also yourself.
